Interpretation: This is a well structured wine with abundant tannins and color for its price point. The bANT:pTAN ratio of 0.21 is high and contributes to the wine's plush characteristic. The 0.45 pTAN:IRP ratio suggests that it was thoroughly extracted during fermentation/maceration. Interestingly, yellowing is fairly advanced with a b* of 15.5. This may be a result of temperature fluctuations during shipping in combination with a screw cap closure.
