ABOUT US
Co-Founder and Winemaker
Keaton Crow
After graduating from the Viticulture & Enology program at UC Davis, Keaton made Super Tuscan wines in Bolgheri, Italy, for several years. It was there he had the opportunity to balance the ins and outs of production with his scientific curiosities. In addition to the general responsibilities of being a winemaker, Keaton also headed up the international research project on Bordeaux varietals with Dr. Ron Runnebaum and created a state-of-the-art laboratory introducing new technologies to the region such as WINEXRAY's rapid phenolics assay. Realizing the extraordinary role of phenolics in wine and the opportunity to pursue a new-found passion, Keaton returned stateside with his wife, Jenn Kain, to work more closely with WINEXRAY, and soon after, the idea for Bound was born.
